International Fraud Awareness Week 2026

Spot it. Stop it. Protect the NHS.

To mark International Fraud Awareness Week 2026, Audit Yorkshire’s Counter Fraud Specialists have produced a series of short awareness materials to help staff avoid common fraud risks, recognise the warning signs, and know what to do if something does not feel right. Each video is only a few minutes long and you do not need sound on your computer to play them.

Watching a video? The links in this International Fraud Awareness Week message are genuine and safe to click—they are not part of a penetration test or simulated phishing exercise. If you would like to check before opening one, hover over the video title: the destination should show Vimeo, our trusted video-sharing platform. If it shows a different destination, do not click and report it through your usual local route.

If you would like to learn more about any of these topic areas, why not join one of our free, hour long training sessions. You can find out more in each of our monthly newsletters. You can find the latest edition on the intranet, or if you would like to receive our newsletters directly to your inbox, please just let us know by emailing yhs-tr.counterfraudyork@nhs.net

Take a few minutes to explore the series and help make fraud harder to commit.
